Ensure your residents
are being heard

The mission of the Resident Voice Index™ initiative is to generate timely insights about topics that matter to social housing residents and the organisations that serve them. Using powerful analytics and data visualisation powered by MRI Software, the Resident Voice Index™ outputs provide business intelligence that all stakeholders can use to improve the lives of their residents. We are not getting paid to deliver these surveys and the results we publish are available for everyone to consume.

You can now become part of the Resident Voice Index™ by inviting your residents to take part in our survey

We have designed a range of support materials to get you started

Telephone survey*

If you wish to run the survey by telephone, you can complete the survey online on behalf of your residents during the telephone call. Each time you do so, please ensure you clear your browser cookies for SurveyMonkey, to allow for multiple survey completions.

*It’s important for the anonymity of the study that neither the resident nor provider is identified during the free text answers. Please also make the respondent aware that we only collect their email address if they agree to be contacted for future surveys. Their email address will not be used for any other purposes.

Who we’re working with

The Housing Associations Charitable Trust (HACT) has a wealth of experience in resident engagement research and data support. Their work, including the UK Housing Data Standard in association with OSCRE is being adopted in the project and their expertise will support the survey design.

The Housing Quality Network (HQN) is one of the sector’s main advisory, support and training organisations. They are supporting the Resident Voice Index™ initiative as media partners and through engaging their own established resident network.
